MUFE

Finally jumped the bandwagon and got a popular favorite , the Make up forever HD foundation + primer + translucent finishing powder.. I youtubed the HD powder and saw such hype and raves about it and I really dont wana open it untill I get proper tools ( mac 182) to fully BRING OUT THE MAGIC OF IT. I saw this video about this Make up forever representative testing it out on the models and somehow it was just too good to be true. Like used alone, in a teeny bit amout mind you, totally even-ed out the complexion of the models and made their faces look uber-matte ( i likes) .


Btw, HD= Highdef and these range of cosmetics are specially tailored for HD films where image quality is much intense and sharper(duh) which means any blemish, spot, imperfection on a hd recording system would be totally nasty.. and its 6x more magnified in HD. So whatever imperfections on your face that is invinsible to the naked eye, HD would bring it out and EMBRACE IT ON SCREEN. And when that happens I guess men all over the world would understand why makeup is so important and the 'au natural' term should be banished. Uneven skin tones eyebags zits ewwww!




Ever since I started using my Mac studiofix fluid I've realized that either A) it sucks, B) the counterstaff at mac tangs chose a wrong shade for me or C) both. Since Studiofixfluid seems to be a favourite for many I reckon its got to be the wrong damn shade.

I found it to be dull and muddy on my skin and somewhat orange-y and it's WORSE in photos. looks like i mixed my foundation to two parts bronzer or something!! So i got some product from the Make up forever and the Mac and put them side by side.





PLEASE LOOK AT THE COLOUR DIFFERENCE!!!!! Looks like i did a damn painting and was manually mixing in various beige skin tonned paints or something..

Mac on the left, Make up 4ever on the right. btw the 'correct' colour for my face is the makeupforever, as light as it seems. Even Kim kardashian's shade for the MUFE HD foundation is darker hehe..

Primer ( i got the yellow based one) is so far so good, really DOES MAGICALLY brighten up your complexion ok no kidding... and it really prolongs the staying power of your foundation.. i know they're pricey but they are a good investment (:

Foundation-wise compared to studiofix I found that it blends so much more easily . Wow how do i say this.. Like the 'particles' in it are much more minute and tiny compared to the mac studiofix so it's easier to blend whereas the mac is more thick? Wow that was a mouthful of nonsense but go figure


Btw coverage on MUFE(makeupforever)'s sheer build-able to medium, whereas personally on the mac i find coverage is medium build-able to fuller. Mac Vs MUFE , coverage on mac is thicker but WHO CARES SHEER SKIN LOOKS BETTER...
